I was given my first pair in 2020 and still wear them today. I also have several other other pairs in different colors, which I also wear. These can be warm every day for just about anything and they are very comfortable to wear. I do recommend these and other styles as well. Great product no matter what.

I bought these for my daughter just a couple weeks ago as a part of her "back to school" shopping like we have always done before the start of a new school year. Which, as luck would have it, couldn't have come at a better time, considering she had just about outgrown and outworn her previous pair of black and white checkered Asher slip on Vans- that she just HAD to have last year! The same exact shoes that I had to hear her complain about having to wear each and every day for a week (the two extra days I waited before ordering these since I was waiting to get them on sale, plus the five days it took to get shipped to the DSW store here in Albuquerque) before we were finally able to pick up our newly purchased and long awaited for Vans and bring them home. As Far As The Fit You May Want To Order A Half Size Smaller Than Your Normal Size, Mine Were A Lil Loose Especially If You Want To Style Them Untied. Other Than That LOVE'em Tha Dopest Show I Must Have Them In Different Colors, Plan On Copping Tha Slip Ons and Tha Originals 💯...St. Louis Born N Raised But I Feel Like I Gotta Lil Cali N Me 🤣✌️

So I have never owned a pair of Vans before. At one point I didn't really like them for some odd reason but this past year I had actually really started to understand the hype. This past week I decided to pick up my first pair and I am genuinely surprised. I expected the insole to feel like cement looking at the photos but it actually has more support than my old shoes. The upper is really good quality and it feels like they will last me a long time. They do squeak a bit as I walk but I expect that to go away after time. I also heard that they run small but I actually had to go down a full size which was surprising. The only downside I notice is that they are a bit hard to put on and take off, but I'd assume that's for added support.
I got a pair from my mom as a gift. My first pair. I've had them for three years now. There still in very good condition, I wear them for just about anything and several times a week. Just a quick wipe down and shoe care, you'll be good. These were my first pair, since then I've bought a second pair, just for a change of pace. Still great though. Thanks to my mom, I'm now a big Vans fan.
As a SoCal native, kid of the 80's, I wore VANS pretty much all the time. As I aged into adulthood my feet seemed to be less tolerant of Vans (Old School & SK8 Hi). My feet just ached too much. Not sure if it's because I have low arches, or because the lack of padding in the foot beds caught up with me? I eventually stopped wearing them, which bummed me out.I stopped in a Vans store in the mall a couple months ago and finally tried on a pair of Old School amd SK8-Hi's. I was surprised at how good they felt on my feet. With each step I could feel actual cushioning, I was sold!Now there are subtle differences with the CC compared to the traditional pairs, but to me they don't matter. Millennials, these are not the Vans we remember. These are Converse with a different logo. They're very narrow and made of nothing but canvas. I'm totally disappointed because I was expecting a wider width and more cushion like the Vans I loved when I was in high school.

Out of all the shoes I have in rotation the vans get the least use and some how the back wall of the shoe shattered into 5 pieces and had to be taken out, making their support completely useless. You see the little fold on the inside of the bottom of the shoe? It'll break after being worn a few times. Making the vans useless in the rain or any situation with water, it takes on water on the smallest splashes. I'd argue even the Nike Jordan mesh shoes, roshis and my mesh nmds hold up better in water than the vans because their shoes are designed to break at the folds. Literally planned ... This is my first pair of Vans and I absolutely love the style and look of the shoes. They are just so classic and go with everything. The shoes are really high quality and I really like the materials used. The insoles are a little thin and you can feel everything under your feet but that's not too much of a deal breaker for me. The padded ankle collar is a really nice touch and it gives nice cushion when walking for longer periods. The lace up enclosure gives a nice snug fit albeit it does take some work to put the shoes on. The toe box is also a little narrow but as I break them in it is slowly stretching out. Overall I do recommend the shoes and I'll definitely be getting another pair in the future.
I bought these and thought they felt stiff, but all new shoes do. These WRECKED my ankles, I had to wear bandages and flip flops for over a month. Tried giving them another try six months later in short bursts and no matter what socks I wear, including vans official socks, they all get sucked into this shoe. I've bought other versions of vans sneakers, and these are unwearable and so painful. I wish I could get my money back 😭
