Grain-free and low in carbs, it includes superfoods and is rich in nutrients, which is something I always look for in a cat food. This product has been exactly what I was hoping for. The moisture-rich texture is perfect and provides the hydration my cat needs. What I truly appreciate is that it's a complete meal, eliminating my worries about supplementing other nutrients. The whole-prey ratios maintain my cat's interest every time. Additionally, the fact that this product uses ethically sourced meats gives me peace of mind about my purchase. Needless to say, my cat loves it too!

Everything except the chickpea is species-appropriate for our little obligate carnivores, and the variety of organ meats included is also a plus.My two kitties seem to like it fine. One does prefer the Instinct brand wet foods but is willing to eat this as well, which is good because I hate to be locked into just one brand.I'm not sure about the other reviews that say it stinks. It's not odor-free but to me it's not a strong smell. I'd say maybe those people got a bad batch but I've been serving this for a few years and it's always seemed the same to me.

I really like this cat food. It's nutrient rich and high in protein, which is great for my cats' overall health. The fact that it includes superfoods is a bonus. It supports joint health, is grain-free and low carb. I also use it as a topper for their dry food. Even my picky eaters can't resist it. I appreciate that the meats are ethically sourced and that it's suitable for cats of all life stages. All in all, my cats really enjoy this. Highly recommended!
I expect you'll see a theme in reviews here, but my poor cat has had gastro problems his whole life. Stomatitis in his mouth, allergic reactions, vomiting, diarrhea, you name it--most certainly a severe reaction to chicken. You look at most cat food on the shelf, and you're shocked to find how many use "extra" ingredients in their food--a lot of non-chicken meals have chicken additives. I'm fairly confident that we've reviewed most of the brands available to us in the US, and Ziwi Peaks is the only one that he both likes and can eat without issue again and again.It's as simple as this: they actually just use real, simple ingredients. I don't know why that's so hard for others to do, but until then, this is just stands alone as the best there is.
Mr Meggs has been enjoying intermittently, with his science diet biscuits, and he goes crazy, for ZIWI! A half can is enough for a meal, cover, and pop in the fridge for the second half, them for a few days, the Science Diet biscuits, are his staple!He always has a moist nose, drinks lots of water, and I monitor how much I give him( usually a half cup, morning and night.) He's totally indoors with a run, specially built for him, but is keen on 'zoomies' every afternoon.I keep him groomed..never seen a fur ball regurgitation, yet!! He is a 5 year old rescue cat, Ginger, and gorgeous company!!

This food has been a miracle for my cat who was experiencing severe gastro symptoms. After spending a lot of money at the vets, and putting the poor cat on a lot of medicines, a savvy veterinarian suggested he might have food allergies from the additives in his food. I was feeding him the (what I thought) was the very best food and he was getting sicker and sicker. The vet recommended a single meat source for his allergies. I found Ziwi Lamb. It has been 3 months he has only had the lamb cat food. He is healthy, energetic, and has not thrown up. What a difference in my cat! Thank you for not putting chemicals and additives in the cat food. You saved my cat.

This product is really great and my cats absolutely love it! It's moisture-rich and highly palatable, which made the transition to this food easy. The fact that it's made with real meat and is high in protein is a huge bonus. Plus, it's a limited ingredient diet, which is perfect for my fussy eaters.
