There are so many things to like about this water bottle: excellent portability, essentially spill proof (even for me!), keeps my ice water cold for hours, and it can go in the dishwasher (I won’t buy a water bottle that can’t go in there.The only downside is washing the cap. I knew I would need to handwash the straw as I do all of my reusable steel straws, but taking the cap apart to wash it decently is a “thing” for this neurospicy woman. I have to remember to pull out the red rubber thingy before I even start or I can’t get it out, then I have to scrub it with my dish brush, my straw brush, and this other funky little brush that fits in that tight space that screws onto the bottle itself. The muted Oat color I got is also so lovely and goes perfectly with my now more neutral/monochrome style. I hope to cherish this bottle for many years!

I have a family so there are eight Hydroflasks in our house at any given time. We had never had any issues with them. The first time we did, I filled out the forms, did the self test and sent the bottle back in. They sent me a new one at no charge. Now, the bottle I returned had been everywhere from small trails in NC to the bottom of the Grand Canyon. It kept ice in it for two days in 120 degree heat! Needless to say, It had some rough points. The Hydroflasks are made incredibly well and they stand behind their product. The service was amazing. The new bottle is incredible and ready for more adventures by my side. hanks for making a superior product!

There are some really great things about this bottle - it's huge (I only need to fill it twice to reach my daily goal!), it's a beautiful color, and it's super durable.The downside of it is that it doesn't keep my water cold for very long. With my previous water bottle, I could leave the water alone all night and it would still be ice cold in the morning. With my new Hydro Flask, the water stops being cold within an hour or two. Since this is my first Hydro Flask, I'm not sure if the bottle I received is defective or if they're just like that, but it kind of sucks since I fill it in the morning to use throughout the day and by 9am I'm drinking room temperature water.
I actually love this water bottle more than I thought I would!! I also have the all around travel tumbler from here which is bigger but not as comfortable as this one. If I were to do it again, I'd probably buy the bigger size for this bottle, but this size is fine for now. The ice also keeps way better in this one than my travel tumbler which is nice! One down side is that it is not cup holder friendly, so it rolls around in my passenger seat, but it doesn't spill AT ALL, so it's not that big of a deal. I bought the boot for this as well which I HIGHLY recommend! Overall, I love this bottle! It has become my everyday go-to!

I also like it having a straw because it makes it easier to drink from and I don’t have to worry about tipping the bottle over too far and getting water all over myself. The straw also had a great suction so your not struggling to drink but definitely make sure it’s up all the way because it can squirt out water if it’s not. You can also make sure the straw is fully down because it clicks when shut so you won’t risk leaking. Another added bonus is the lid has a handle for easy carrying and it’s flexible so it won’t hurt your hands when carrying. Bangs up easily and loses form. Difficult to flip straw up. Not kid friendly. My 7 yo has carried this around school for under 3 months and it looks so bad-its deformed on the bottom and the paint is chipping off. The straw compartment is hard to flip up. She has to use her teeth instead of her hands to get it to flip. I just got her a yeti straw container which flip opens way easier. The 5 yo cant open the flip straw up at all. Not impressed with hydroflask design and quality at all. Not worth the price.
This is now my second (replacement) wide mouth bottle. I’ve had the standard mouth bottles for years and loved them! I purchased the wide mouth for the versatility of having a lid for hot drinks. The first one rusted around the rem and then eventually on the inside. I’m glad hydro flask has great customer service and sent me a replacement bottle. I’m hoping that was one faulty bottle and not a new issue that has sprung up since i originally purchased my narrow mouth bottles years ago.
I've owned many water bottles but this one is by far my favorite! I usually prefer room temp water and have been using another popular brand in the 34 oz. but I'm tired of water dripping on my face from the attached lid, plus it requires both hands to drink. I decided to give this one a try because of the straw. With this hydroflask, I can drink one handed, I can have water in the car while running errands that won't get hot, and no more water drips. My boyfriend bought one too and we take them everywhere! He agreed they're worth the price tag. We'll be buying more.
